Free flow And Anticaking

Fumed Silica has proven to be very efficient flow aid especially for hygroscopic substances. It gives prolonged shelf life to the cake forming materials, working as an effective anti caking agent.

It works as a spacer between individual molecules. During mixing in, it covers whole surface area by accumulation on the surface of the individual powder particles and separates them from one another. It reduces the moisture uptake of the material compared to ordinary hydrophilic silica.
